New England Machinery has designed the SO-3 Off-Center Neck Container Linear Orienter to accommodate packagers with the need to orient containers with offset necks or handles during the packaging process. Whether orienting after bulk feeding, capping, or leaving the accumulation table, the SOE-3 offers a simple solution to orientation needs.

Asymmetrical Orientation - The SO-3 Off-Center Neck Container Linear Orienter is designed to accept and convey rectangular and round bottles with offset necks and handles and orient them without the use of complicated scanners or clutches. The SO-3 distinguishes the bottle’s incoming orientation based on container symmetry, the offset neck or handle (depending upon your application), and orients the bottles accordingly. The bottles will face the same way to suit your downstream packaging operation.

Compact Design - The SO-3 is a self-contained, freestanding unit. It is ergonomically designed with low profile design. Operators have easy access for changeovers.

Easy Installation - Easily installed, the SO-3 slides up to the existing conveyor. The simple (hand crank or electric) height adjustment allows it to be raised when not in use and lowered for the next changeover.

Low Maintenance Requirements - With only two infeed timing and two additional continuous motion transfer belts, the SO-3 is designed for minimal maintenance, no change parts and maximum container range. A changeover can be completed in less than 10 minutes by an operator.

Gentle Container Handling - The orienter provides smooth continuous motion, advanced custom design incorporating non-marring transfer belts. It is capable of up to 450 containers per minute, depending on bottle size. New dual motor drive system minimizes number of drive components, eliminates particulate causing gear belts, and allows easier changeover.
