The Model NOL Unscrambler from New England Machinery represents a time
proven concept for unscrambling plastic containers. This machine layout
allows fast and easy access for container loading, size changeover and
maintenance.
Containers exit the sorter bowl at the same level as final machine
discharge and are oriented to a base leading configuration by one single
mechanical device, and are ultimately uprighted by an uprighter cam.
Containers are fully captured by soft and gentle padded or polyurethane
belts (as applicable) throughout the workflow, minimizing the
opportunities for container scuffing or other damage.
Versatility - The Model NOL will
unscramble straight-walled, square, rectangular, round or oval containers
at speeds up to 650 containers per minute, dependent on container size and
configuration. The NOL is uniquely capable of handling small containers at
the highest attainable speeds in the industry.
Rapid and Repeatable Changeover - A line
operator can perform a complete container size changeover on the NOL in 15
minutes or less. The open machine design allows operators easy access to
all subassemblies for fast and efficient size changeovers. The
field-proven New England unscrambler design does not use pockets, rod
cages, or pushers, further simplifying changeover time and expense.
Gentle Container Handling - The belt
transfer system minimizes the opportunity for container scuffing or other
damage. Delicate and pre-decorated containers are fully protected
throughout the workflow of the machine.
Ease of Operation - The Model NOL
operates on-demand with minimal operator interface. The machinery
automatically responds to changes in container supply and downstream
container demands.
