Bottle Uprighter System |

|
The New England Machinery Model NEUP Bottle Uprighter System is designed to upright neck-trailing containers lying on the minor axis, which are supplied to the system from a customer-supplied, continuous motion conveyor. Containers enter the system traveling, lying on the minor axis. The containers are captured by a set of dual running belts and are transferred to an orienting belt assembly. Captured within the orienting belts the containers proceed through a linear hook assembly. The hook assembly is designed to allow base-leading containers to travel through the orienting section, while neck-leading containers are captured by the neck and re-oriented to a base-leading configuration. Now configured with all bases leading, the containers contact an uprighter cam positioned at the end of the second belt assembly. The bases gently strike the cam, forcing the uprighting action. As the containers are uprighted, they are captured by the discharge belt assembly in a full upright position. The discharge belt assembly is positioned over a customer-supplied conveyor, which accepts the uprighted containers. The system can be provided on an independent stainless steel stand to cantilever over an existing conveyor, or the system may be directly mounted on a conveyor. Container sizes are easily changed with minor adjustments. No change parts are required. |
